Product Description
If you've decided you want to jump into kiting with both feet, the Nexus from Prism may just be the kite for you. Its lightweight carbon frame makes it very responsive and easy to use and the five vibrant color patterns will dazzle any audience. If you have limited luggage space, this kite is ready to go with you; it folds into a compact 28" sleeve. This kite is perfect for the beginner who wants great performance or for the occasional flyer who wants a kite that will make him look good. If you want a kite with more punch, check out the Prism Quantum and its seven foot wingspan.

5 out of 5 stars Lots o' fun   January 6, 2009
I bought this for my 15 year old son for Christmas. He was disappointed to receive "just a kite", until he started using it. Now he loves it, and tries to find time every day to go outside to use it, even though it is freezing. I had to make a couple adjustments to the lines to keep it up in the air when we first got it, but now it works great. Very high quality materials, and a tough kite. It has crashed into the ground and various bushes and trees at full speed without any noticeable damage. Lots and lots of fun....I am thinking of getting one for myself so we can fly them together.

5 out of 5 stars great begginer kite   July 28, 2008
great kite for the money at 40 bucks. Its survived plenty of crashes and is lots of fun in a nice breeze with some good pull.

5 out of 5 stars pretty fun flyer if you cand handle it   May 31, 2008

This isn't a kite, it's a sports car. A really, really fast, well-handling car. Like a car, you better be able to handle it, because it's going to wreck while you learn.

First time you hit a strong wind, you'll see what I mean. It's brilliantly engineered. If you're really good, you could chase birds with it - it's that agile.

Highly recommended, but you need to be able to handle it.

1 out of 5 stars low quality   May 22, 2008

The Kite appeared to be well made, however, when I first assembled it to fly I found that the bridle and lines were all different lengths, the lines were at least 1 foot different (making the wrist straps useless), and the bridle lines were also different lengths making it impossible to fly. Don't waste your money.

5 out of 5 stars Reconnecting to childhood...   November 8, 2007

Great even in low wind- highly durable and easy to get together. If you read the directions carefully you can have it up off the ground in no time at all. Definitely worth the money!
