Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Larin truck step   November 23, 2008
I ordered 2 or these Larin truck steps, one for my business and another to actually give away (christmas). The quality of these steps is not very good at all. Of course "made in China". The welds are sloppy and the materials are thin. The adjustments for tire size are time consuming to adjust and the small spring pins they used pop off when I'd put the step over the tire. I had to replace all the pins with bolts and nuts to keep it together. The second one, that I was going to give away, I'm glad I opened the box and inspected it. It looks like it's been slid along a concrete road for about a block. Almost no paint and scratches on one side. Yes, they did function as advertized, and held my 215 pounds up with no problem. Of course I already ran over the one I used for my work truck, forgot it was on the tire and drove forward, bad day for the step.

Buyer beware I guess. I picked this model of step over a dozen others I found because of the aggressive tread on it (no worrys of my foot slipping when leaning forward).
