Good horn, but ... November 20, 2008

Just finished installing the horn. I really like the sound; much better than the stock horn that came on my Vulcan 900LT. But the installation was a bit of a hassle. I decided to use the fitting for the original horn, which was fine ... no drilling. But the bolt that came with the unit was too short; another 1/4 inch would have been perfect. So had to fix that problem by not using the lock washer & nut that came with the unit, but getting a lock nut (one that has plastic insert) from hardware store. So, overall a good unit that I would buy again.

It is loud November 2, 2008
We purchased this horn to provide a louder replacement for the stock horn on our Mazda speed6. It did the trick. It has a unique but pleasant sound and roughly 50% louder than the pair of orginal horns. Installation was easy and horn appears to be well constructed. We have had it for about 3 months now with no problems. It is hidden inside a wheel well so can't see if there is any corrosion but it is working fine. Overall a very good replacement or upgrade horn.

I like the wolo 519. It's a great thing having a horn ayour bike to keep cars from running in your lane. The will keep a bad driver from doing bad things to you. The is loud and it is easy to install. I had to add one piece of angle over top of bolt slot. This will keep the bolt from jumping out of slot. Other than that it's good product.
