Great item! November 30, 2008
We used this to store a whole lot of Baby items....pack n play, strollers, booster seat, floates and whatever other items we could fit in there for our trip from NJ to Florida. We drove through rain and NOTHING was wet!!!. I could not believe it! I did not pack clothes for fear that it would get wet but on the way back we pack this bag with everything that we could fit. Great purchase for a GReat price!

2000 miles without a problem November 20, 2008
We bought this for our trip to Key West. It rained part of the way down and most of the way back to South Carolina and we didn't get a single drop of water inside the bag. The bag is HEAVY vinyl and has a velcro lip that folds down to completely cover the zipper; no water leaking in here.

I would definetly recommend you do a dry run before your trip to get the staps adjusted properly. We tried to attach it in a dark garage at 5am and did not have the best results. Once the straps are adjusted for your vehicle it goes on/off in a few minutes. We took it on/off at least a dozen times on our ten day trip.

The straps were very strong and snapped on easily. I do have two warnings: You MUST have cross bars to properly install this unit to your roof rack and the zipper must align PERFECTLY before you can zip it; very tight.

I would positively recommend this unit to anyone needed extra travel space.

Great Carrier! Went from Tn. to Fla. 1600 miles...not a glitch!
Does everything Amazon says it does! It is very easy to install!!! Really!
I read some of the bad reviews and these people must be idiots! It took me about 15 - 20 minutes to completely finish installing and loading it!
Holds 1 Large suit case and (2) small duffle bags and (1) flat leather suit bag about 3" thick & 36-48" long. This Carrier is very Heavy Duty! About twice as thick as a tarp. I agree with one review stating that in cold weather it is hard to zip and seal. Hint:Put small cable ties through the zipper eye and leave an open loop on the zippers. (4" long cable ties) to help close the zippers.

This bag is good. It stores a lot of stuff. We went through a rain storm and everything inside was kept dry. The only issue is that the buckles were too large to fit under the rack on top of the van. We had to take the buckles off and feed through the strap then put the buckle back on.

Pretty good for the money. September 3, 2008
The item worked well on our trip from NY to VA. It poured a few times and everything stayed dry. It was worth the trouble of putting it on top of the car once you figure out how to do it. Over all it is a good product.
