1 out of 5 stars More work than it's worth   August 27, 2010

Easy enough to install, but very difficult to use. Getting the helmet on required a mirror because if you insert the buckle incorrectly (all too easy to do) it gets stuck and won't release. Getting the helmet off once the buckle was inserted correctly required a fair amount of hand strength -- perhaps more than some smaller riders possess. When I decided to get rid of it, the process of uninstalling the quick-release buckle took a lot of work and some powerful tools in order to avoid damaging the helmet.

5 out of 5 stars Great release, but not a quick connect at all!   August 25, 2010
Phillip Hamberlin (racer_phill)
This product works very well when you are trying to take your lid off. It is a bit of hassle to connect it when getting on the bike though. br / br /The only other bad thing I would say about it is that is pinches hair out of my beard! Be careful about that!

4 out of 5 stars Glove on Glove off !   August 1, 2010

I recently seen this on another riders helmet and it caught my attention. br /I've only owned helmets with the D-ring style lace through strap for many br /years so I decided to try something new. I did like the idea that I can fasten br /the helmet strap with gloves on, as I usually forget and have to take my gloves back off. It is much faster and did take a little practice at first, no big deal. br /The plus is that it can be removed with no damage to the original strap.

2 out of 5 stars Hard to use or make work   July 2, 2010
Randy Samsel (Columbus, Ohio United States)
I got it installed with no problems on my Harley half shell helmet but using it is turning out to be a hassle. I have problems getting both prongs to line up right to snap it together. Then if you don't get it lined up right snapping it on it can be a true challenge getting it unclipped. I am not very coordinated to begin with, which is why I wanted a quick connect/disconnect option but so far and have used it about a dozen times it is just not working for me.

3 out of 5 stars Helmet strap quick release   June 14, 2010

It was ok, a little tough to snap in. You have to align it correctly. even then I noticed a few times it actually came loose. I readjusted the strap and madeit tighter on my chin. This seems to help. overall I would use the strap. It is safer
